Our staterooms are thoughtfully designed to combine touches of elegance and comfort while maximizing efficiency. Passenger cabins are more than just a guest’s home away from home for a week. In our modern world (post Covid), cabins serve as the epicenter for daily life while onboard and are required to serve a multitude of functions. Beyond offering a place to sleep, they are a touchdown point for organizing oneself for the day’s activities and are a place to relax while enjoying scenic ocean views. Furthermore, the cabins may act as a temporary office, meeting room and command center for a family of 4.

Features and materials have been selected to ensure the cabins feel open and inviting. Spaces to unpack and organize are carefully considered. Different levels of lighting are available to suit the variety of uses for the cabin. Neutral tones are paired with pops of bright color to add warmth while offering the possibilities of alternating material palettes – adding uniqueness amongst the cabins.

An elegant, specialty dining venue serving mediterranean inspired cuisineThe aesthetic story is inspired by the musical allure of the mythical ocean siren. Sirens were known for their extraordinary beauty and seductive song. Savior to some weary sailors, the sirens also had a fiery side. Our story is told through the beautiful siren we’ve named, Indigo. Restaurant guests are surrounded by a veritable gallery of art pieces. The collection includes striking paintings depicting Indigo and her sisters rendered in shades of blue and brass, playing a series of musical instruments. These same hues can also be found in the furnishings, lighting and wall finishes. The most striking feature of the space is the sweeping illuminated ceiling canopy, with gradients of blue – reminiscent of a rolling ocean wave. The restaurant contains a variety of seating configurations including tables for 2 and 4, some of which can be combined to accommodate groups of 6 or more. Intimate booth seating, nestled in beautiful art alcoves are also available.

For a more exclusive dining experience and private celebrations, Indigo’s Canto features a stunning private dining room (PDR) with seating for up to 10 peopleHosted in the PDR is the “Captain’s Table” dining experience. Special guests are immersed in a curated gastronomic odyssey beneath the canopy of an ethereal chandelier and blazing dome, which illudes to Indigo’s mercurial nature. The Portico at Indigo’s Canto, allows diners to enjoy the delicious cuisine alfresco, while taking in the ever-changing ocean views.

Sunset Cay is conceived as part of the resort-inspired beach club and entertainment area situated at the aft end of the vessel known as Ocean + Collins.  The sweeping, infinity edge pool features in-water lounging zones, and seating areas with tables, offering bathers stunning wake views while sipping on their favorite cocktail.  Adding to the beach club vibes, the pool area is ringed with vibrantly colored sun loungers and living greenery that includes mature palm trees. The art alcoves contain striking murals with figures whose eyes gaze out to the ocean views. There are also arched, private cabanas with lounge seating that overlook the lounge and pool areas.

At the heart of the venue is the Sunset Cay Swim-up Bar which has 360-degree views of the ocean and entertainment deck area, with direct access between the swim-up area and the infinity edge pool area.

The Bistro at Ocean + Collins is envisioned as a premium yet relaxed dining venue, offering guests an elevated culinary and social experience within the Ocean + Collins Beach Club Complex, home also to the pulse-quickening activity of Sunset Cay. Designed as both a destination and a retreat, the Bistro brings together sophisticated design, thoughtful programming, and an atmosphere that blends casual comfort with timeless elegance.
The interior design takes strong inspiration from Miami’s storied Art Deco heritage, weaving in subtle references to the golden age of ocean liner travel. A palette of clean, bright finishes provides a crisp backdrop, while gleaming brass accents and richly layered details echo the glamour of 1930s ocean liner interiors. To energize the space, bold abstract artworks in vivid colors punctuate the walls, creating moments of visual delight that balance the refined, nautical undertones.

Guests arriving at the Bistro are welcomed into a space filled with light and life. Expansive windows frame sweeping ocean vistas, ensuring that the sea is always part of the dining experience. Along this window line, dedicated seating allows diners to enjoy uninterrupted views, whether they are savoring a quiet meal for two or gathering with friends. The integration of a lush living green wall and thoughtfully placed live plants throughout the venue softens the geometry of the Art Deco detailing, infusing the restaurant with warmth, freshness, and a sense of connection to nature.

The Bistro offers a range of seating options to suit the diverse needs of its quest. Comfortable banquettes encourage leisurely dining, while flexible tables for two or four can be seamlessly combined to accommodate larger groups. At the center of the venue, a striking feature table for up to eight guests is crowned by an illuminated stained-glass dome—an eye-catching focal point that recalls the opulent skylights of historic ocean liners. Along the window line, a secondary feature table for six provides an equally special setting for intimate gatherings.

Project Details

Riverside Station, located in Capitol Heights, MD, spans two city blocks near the Capitol Heights Metro station. The site’s channeled stream divides the area, creating an opportunity for buildings to relate as a community while transitioning to the nearby low-rise, single-family neighborhood. The MXT zoning allows higher densities and reduced parking requirements due to the Metro’s proximity.

The development consists of four- to five-story buildings, including three residential structures and one mixed-use building with community-oriented retail on the ground floor and residential units above. The site’s grade allows for efficient parking layouts with minimal excavation.

The façade design breaks the buildings into smaller elements, using brick, cementitious panels, siding, and metal accents to complement the surroundings. The project will offer a balanced mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, creating a diverse and vibrant community close to public transportation.

Project Details

The Urban Plan for Internally Displaced People (IDP) in Cartagena, Colombia, developed by Paola Moya, is an award-winning master plan addressing the humanitarian crisis faced by Colombia’s five million displaced individuals. Designed during her graduate studies at the Catholic University of America, the project received the NOMA Visionary Honor Award and the Professional Design Excellence Award in 2011 for its innovative urban solutions.

Spanning 16 acres, the plan integrates displaced families with residents from diverse economic backgrounds in a sustainable, mixed-use community. It features five residential towers, vertical and horizontal farming systems that supply up to 25% of food needs, and renewable energy solutions, including rooftop wind farms. Community-building infrastructure includes a school, healthcare center, daycare, and business support services, alongside cultural spaces such as a Gabriel García Márquez Cultural Center and a heritage museum.

In 2015, the project was selected by Geneva-based humanitarian councils and exhibited in 2016 at the United Nations World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul, showcasing its potential as a global model for urban humanitarian response. Moya’s visionary plan demonstrates how architecture and urban design can empower displaced communities, support resilience, and create sustainable, culturally enriched environments for long-term recovery.

Using the principles of placemaking, we sought to transform Largo’s suburban landscape into a vibrant urban hub. At the heart of our design philosophy was the integration of the site’s proximity to the Metro line, leveraging its location to foster a seamless blend of transportation, retail, and community spaces.

We turned the Metro system’s adjacent service and maintenance area into a focal point, ingeniously weaving the service tunnels into the retail environment of the ground floor. Our master planning emphasizes non-vehicular pathways, highlighting our commitment to urban design that encourages healthy living, social interaction, and environmental stewardship. By intertwining Largo’s historical context with a forward-looking design, we aim to create a space that not only meets the current urban design standards but sets new ones.

Project Details

Reservation 13, located at Hill East near the Anacostia River, has been an underused historic site for over 200 years. Initially excluded from L’Enfant’s Plan, it was later included in the 2002 Anacostia Waterfront Target Areas. In December 2020, DMPED issued an RFP to develop the site, transforming it into a vibrant mixed-use community.

Argos Group and The NRP Group selected MOYA Design Partners to lead the design of six mixed-use buildings, adding over 1,000 homes, retail spaces, and childcare facilities. MOYA’s design embraces the Hill East Master Plan and the Anacostia Waterfront Initiative by integrating the street grid and respecting the site’s zoning and scale.

The project rehabilitates brownfield areas and creates green spaces and courtyards. The design capitalizes on the existing topography, creating a visually dynamic development that connects the city to the Anacostia River and reimagines the relationship between the urban environment and nature.
