Project Details
The District of Columbia’s Department of General Services (DGS) Headquarters, located at 3924 Minnesota Avenue NE, is a six-story, 257,290-square-foot building completed in March 2023 as part of the Northeast Heights Development to revitalize DC’s Ward 7. Developed by Trammell Crow Co. and designed by MOYA Design Partners with PEDC, this $105 million project holds LEED Silver certification.
The DGS Headquarters offers 223,200 square feet of office space for 700 employees, along with 14,400 square feet of retail space. The building features a modern facade, green roof, bioretention ponds, a rooftop terrace, a conferencing center, and fitness facilities.
The project has won several awards, including Best Washington, DC Urban Office at the NAIOP DC|MD 2023 Awards of Excellence and Best Project in Government/Public Buildings by ENR. This headquarters exemplifies sustainable design and supports the growth of DC’s Ward 7.
