About the Project

Green Ascent is an investment and asset management company that focuses on three investment verticals: energy, infrastructure, and finance across North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. The Creative team was thrilled to work on this new branding initiative for this financial services firm. Our team used the word “Ascent” from the company’s name as the foundation for the logo design, and paired it with a graphic depiction of a mountain. With many of Green Ascent clients based in Asia Pacific, the team decided to use the famous Ni Mountain from China as the major focal point for Green Ascent’s branding.

The mountain pictogram hints to the letter “A”, and uses a flat green color palette, contrasted with the medium weight black text of the company name.

Along with developing the new branding for this financial services firm, the MOYA Creative team was also tasked with creating the landing page for the client’s website.

Custom icons were created to help website visitors understand Green Ascent’s guiding principles behind their investment approach. The mountain imagery was a focal part of the landing page, to ensure strong brand association of these imagery elements with the company.

About the Project

Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) in Prince George’s County, MD, is one of the nation’s largest school districts. A long-time MOYA client, the district is recognized for its innovative programs and initiatives including integration through artistic education, environmental and financial literacy, and language immersion.

MOYA Creative team designed PGCPS color scheme for previous reports, so they followed the optimistic yellow and deep blue combination and created stunning infographics with a minimalist design. The team made an effort to balance a fresh positive approach with an analytical eye that brings up the information to the fore.

About the Project

Moya Creative created all-new branding for our client The Keys to Kim, a lifestyle company specializing in gardening services, food catering and small event planning. Playing off the company’s name, our Creative team integrated a dark blue key at the center of the pictogram, with a circular pattern of foliage elements in soft and subtle colors.

For the typography, we chose a serene script for The Keys to Kim’s tagline “Unlock your creativity and inspiration”to evoke calm and tranquil emotions – perceptions which the company wants associated with their brand

About the Project

The ZERO TO THREE Policy Center is a nonpartisan, research-based resource for policymakers and advocates on the unique developmental needs of infants and toddlers. ZERO TO THREE offers the HealthySteps program, an interdisciplinary pediatric primary care program that promotes the health, well-being and school readiness of babies and toddlers, with an emphasis on families living in low-income communities. The HealthySteps program has demonstrated positive outcomes for their participants; this includes the higher likelihood of receiving timely vaccines and screenings for children. Among parents who participate in the program, they are more likely to use positive parenting strategies and offer age-appropriate nutrition to their children.

MOYA Creative design team managed the editorial design for the HealthySteps annual report. The editorial strategy included custom illustrations for each chapter in a simple, yet powerful color block design; data callouts that visualize the importance of the achievements made in 2020; and the inclusion of different pastel colors to identify each chapter in the report. This playful, yet elegant design highlights the important work of the HealthySteps program.

About the Project

Flock DC is a women-owned business that is committed to seNing the Washington, DC area with their family of lifestyle and real estate management brands. Prior to this project, MOYA completed a multi-phase social media and website assessment for Flock DC, which offered the client digital strategies and recommendations to strengthen their pitch and increase reach in the market.

Based on this strategy, the MOYA team was asked by the client to develop social media templates and the website homepage designs for Flock DC and its various sub-brands (birdSEED foundation, Nest DC, Roost DC, Starling DC).

MOYA worked on a comprehensive branding strategy for women-owned lifestyle and real estate management firm Flock DC, covering digital and print products. We completed a social media and website assessment, leading to a digital strategy for the client to strengthen their pitch and increase reach in the market. Our team then created social media templates and website homepage designs for Flock DC and its various sub-brands.

An example print project is our collaboration on a T-shirt design dedicated to the late Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Designer Insights

Using Flock DC’s brand colors and style, we incorporated a stencil-looking illustration of Justice Ginsberg wearing her iconic collar and a mask. The image is also complemented with a Michelle Obama inspired quote that is tweaked to align with the Flock DC brand: When they go low, we fly high.”

Our staterooms are thoughtfully designed to combine touches of elegance and comfort while maximizing efficiency. Passenger cabins are more than just a guest’s home away from home for a week. In our modern world (post Covid), cabins serve as the epicenter for daily life while onboard and are required to serve a multitude of functions. Beyond offering a place to sleep, they are a touchdown point for organizing oneself for the day’s activities and are a place to relax while enjoying scenic ocean views. Furthermore, the cabins may act as a temporary office, meeting room and command center for a family of 4.

Features and materials have been selected to ensure the cabins feel open and inviting. Spaces to unpack and organize are carefully considered. Different levels of lighting are available to suit the variety of uses for the cabin. Neutral tones are paired with pops of bright color to add warmth while offering the possibilities of alternating material palettes – adding uniqueness amongst the cabins.

Project Details

An elegant, specialty dining venue serving mediterranean inspired cuisineThe aesthetic story is inspired by the musical allure of the mythical ocean siren. Sirens were known for their extraordinary beauty and seductive song. Savior to some weary sailors, the sirens also had a fiery side. Our story is told through the beautiful siren we’ve named, Indigo. Restaurant guests are surrounded by a veritable gallery of art pieces. The collection includes striking paintings depicting Indigo and her sisters rendered in shades of blue and brass, playing a series of musical instruments. These same hues can also be found in the furnishings, lighting and wall finishes. The most striking feature of the space is the sweeping illuminated ceiling canopy, with gradients of blue – reminiscent of a rolling ocean wave. The restaurant contains a variety of seating configurations including tables for 2 and 4, some of which can be combined to accommodate groups of 6 or more. Intimate booth seating, nestled in beautiful art alcoves are also available.

For a more exclusive dining experience and private celebrations, Indigo’s Canto features a stunning private dining room (PDR) with seating for up to 10 peopleHosted in the PDR is the “Captain’s Table” dining experience. Special guests are immersed in a curated gastronomic odyssey beneath the canopy of an ethereal chandelier and blazing dome, which illudes to Indigo’s mercurial nature. The Portico at Indigo’s Canto, allows diners to enjoy the delicious cuisine alfresco, while taking in the ever-changing ocean views.
