Eleanor Crook Foundation Office

Concept Review for Old Georgetown Board

Renovation of an existing 5,823 SF building at 1049 30th St NW into a new office for the Eleanor Crook Foundation.
Exterior work includes a new glass entry door with sidelight, a new sliding patio door, removal or replacement of existing windows, addition of new windows including a storefront window on the street facing facade, new entrance lighting, a new metal and glass entrance canopy, painting of the existing roof, and painting of the brick on the building/adjacent site work.
Site work includes removal of two steps at entry to make building entrance accessible with necessary drainage improvements, modification of the existing planter to add new plantings and bench seating, adding a short wall to hide existing patio HVAC equipment and adding a small grass area to the patio.
Interior work includes demolition and new construction in all spaces except the existing mechanical and electrical rooms.
