Our proposed FIFA World Cup pavilion integrates structure, function, and community spirit. At 100,000 sq. ft., it opens with an aqueduct symbolizing each of the five continents. At the end, it sweeps upwards onto a large screen. Flexible photovoltaic panels line the top of the pavilion to power the screens, the lights, and everything in between. Lush green terraces reduce site runoff. Their curved surfaces collect rainwater for a reflecting pool and for reusable water purposes, making this venue environmentally friendly.
