Nevada Charter School
This new two-story charter school embraces the Opportunity 180° approach, which promotes the importance of learning environments. The building’s façade welcomes students and their families with a bright palette of orange, green, and yellow. These playful colors combine with geometric lines to harmonize with the surrounding landscape. Opposite the entrance is a large lawn for students to play outdoors. A soccer field behind the building hosts the school’s athletic programs.

The Nevada Charter School’s interior is an open-concept plan with plenty of ventilation. To create a warm and welcoming environment, we included plenty of indoor trees and greenery. These also contribute to the school’s eco-friendly design. The building has different wings that are clearly marked with large numbers painted on colorful walls. The second story has fun and functional interior bridges with classrooms along the perimeter. Taken together, this open-concept school plan creates a community learning space that fosters connections throughout.
