The Forest Glen Station initiative seeks to transform a vacant landmark in Silver Spring, MD into a dynamic 460,000 SF mixed-use site. Our design allocates 5,000 SF for commercial space, 15,000 SF dedicated to top-tier amenities, and 390 residential units. Notably, 15% of these units are earmarked for low-income accommodations (LIHTC), emphasizing our commitment to creating accessible and inclusive housing in the D.C. metro area.
Integral to the design is a plaza that revitalizes the vicinity and acts as a connective node to the Forest Glen Metro Station. Surrounding this pivotal plaza, various communal spaces are envisioned, fostering connection and community-building. We have also set aside 35% of the development as green space. Underscoring our dedication to sustainability, the project incorporates ecological solutions for stormwater management and the offsetting of forest loss. Forest Glen Station is rooted in architectural rejuvenation, seamlessly integrating historical roots with contemporary needs.
