The public-facing formal and informal hearing rooms administered by the Office of Hearings and Adjudication will be located on the ground floor of the new building, while the upper floors will house the DOES workspace. In response to the demanding nature of work and high-pressure client services provided within DOES, the design will offer stress alleviating, wellness-centric environments through spaces that support productive work, provide moments of individual reprieve, and encourage social connection that bolster a sense of comradery within the office.
