The District Alliance for Safe Housing (DASH) is an organization that develops survivor-centered programs that have helped thousands of domestic violence survivors build the confidence and find the support to re-appropriate their lives. Thanks to DASH’s continued effort, survivors can overcome obstacles and barriers and feel safe from abuse. It is a slow process that involves remaking a survivor’s sense of self around long–lasting pillars of compassion and sovereignty.
When DASH approached MOYA to revamp their offices/shelter, we were more than proud. Our Interior Design team and our Visual Design team volunteered their work to create a space that feels comforting and welcomes the survivors that seek DASH’s help every day.
The design team transformed DASH’s office with a clear understanding of the organization’s mission and needs. Spaces are open and well lit, colors are calming and reassuring, every room is thought to empower DASH’s staff in their everyday work.
