Arlandria-Chirilagua is a 475-units, 100% affordable development in Alexandria, VA. It is in a diverse community with a strong Latin American heritage. MOYA’s Interior Design team is in designed the buildings’ amenities and commercial spaces. 

The property includes 38,000 SF of commercial space and a two-level underground parking garage near the intersection of West Glebe Rd and Mt. Vernon Ave. All 475 units are affordable at 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI); it’s estimated that roughly 1/4th of these units could be priced for households earning up to 40% AMI, which is in high demand where this project resides.  

MOYA’s interior design team honors Arlandria-Chirilagua’s diversity and history through a Patio Central (a Central Patio) reminiscent of traditional Latin American buildings. The Patio serves as a living connection between the two residential buildings and fosters the strong community values of Arlandria-Chirilagua.   

MOYA’s Visual Design team is also working on the building’s branding, inspired by the Patio Central and the rich connections of Arlandria-Chirilagua as a thriving community.
