Moya Design Partners’ visual design team provided event branding, invitations, dinner booklets, logos and presentation graphics for the District of Columbia Building Association (DCBIA)’s 35th Annual Achievement Awards. Billed as “the best black-tie affair in D.C. real estate development,” the DCBIA’s 35th Annual Achievement Awards took place at the Anthem auditorium on D.C.’s Wharf on May 9th, 2019. The event was a gala reception, dinner, networking and after party honoring individual accomplishments in the D.C. real estate community.

This was MOYA’s third year branding the event. To build on previous years and align with the client’s existing branding, the design symbolizes the building blocks of leadership, partnership, capability, and the future. This year’s theme was “Our Voice: Celebrate this year’s honorees with 700 of your peers as we amplify the voice of the DC real estate development community and all those who help meet the challenges to be a vibrant, livable, competitive and thriving city for all.” We gave the Government Sector, Community Impact, Developer of the Year, and Young Leader Achievement Awards distinctive identities united under the same visual language. Custom graphics in black and white exhibit strength, impact, and a long tradition of success. A microphone with a timeless design is an icon that aligns across all collateral as part of our comprehensive branding strategy for the prestigious annual event.
