MOYA Design Partners Inspires Future Architects at Easterseals STEM Event
This week, our CEO Paola Moya, along with Adrian from the MOYA Design Partners team, had the pleasure of engaging with a group of young students at Easterseals Silver Spring, MD, during a STEM volunteer event. Paola and Adrian shared their passion for architecture with a group of eager Pre-K students (ages 3-5), giving them a glimpse into the world of design and creativity.
The morning started with an exciting and interactive presentation where Paola explained what architects do, showcasing a variety of architectural styles and building examples. The students were captivated, asking thoughtful questions and getting inspired to start designing their own buildings.
Following the presentation, the kids were given the opportunity to participate in a creative exercise. Using empty boxes donated by their parents, the students decorated their “buildings,” practicing their design skills and letting their imaginations run wild. It was a joy to witness these future architects begin to blossom right before our eyes, showcasing the limitless potential of young minds when given the chance to explore their creativity.
We are incredibly grateful to Easterseals for the opportunity to engage with these bright young students and to share our love for architecture and design. This event reminded us all of the importance of inspiring the next generation and fostering creativity in young minds. We’re excited to continue supporting such initiatives and look forward to future opportunities to contribute to the growth of the community.
Thank you to the team at Easterseals for allowing us to be part of such a special event. We look forward to more moments like this, where we can ignite the spark of creativity and help nurture the architects of tomorrow.
