Project Details
The DowntownDC Business Improvement District is a private nonprofit organization that provides capital improvements, research, and resources that keep downtown DC clean, safe, and economically and environmentally strong and accessible. The BID promotes these public-private partnerships in a 138-block area of approximately 520 properties from Massachusetts Avenue on the north to Constitution Avenue on the south, and from Louisiana Avenue on the east to 16th Street on the west. With this in mind, Moya Design Partners transformed the BID’s business interiors into a welcoming, professional, and friendly environment with a brand that says custom hospitality.
Our design team’s goal was to provide the BID with a turnkey approach. From test fits, interior layout, interior design, construction administration, interior decoration and environmental graphics, the DowntownDC BID was able to achieve a complete organizational re-brand. In addition, the design called to significantly reduce the office footprint. MOYA was able to work within the client’s parameters to create an open-plan workspace filled with unique semi-private and collaborative work areas.
