Contract | Fully Remote (Preferred location: Latin America)

About MOYA

Moya Design Partners is a multidisciplinary architecture and design studio headquartered in Washington, DC, with a growing presence in Raleigh, North Carolina. We bring architecture, interior architecture, branding, and experiential visual design together under one roof — a unified practice shaping places, stories, and experiences.

Our work spans civic spaces, multifamily housing, community centers, hospitality, education environments, and mission-driven developments. Every project begins with listening — to people, context, history, and future needs. We move with intention, backed by expertise and accountability.

We create inclusive, sustainable, and authentic designs for communities to thrive.

About the Role

We are hiring an Architect located in Latin America to work remotely with our U.S.-based design teams. This position is for someone with 10 years of experience who enjoys the intersection of design and documentation — someone who can move from concept sketches into a well-structured Revit model without losing the soul of the idea.

You combine creativity with accuracy.
You care about design intent and technical clarity.

Your work will include both architecture and interior architecture: modeling, detailing, visualizations, and material exploration. You will collaborate with Senior Architects for direction, but execution is yours — we value autonomy, design sensitivity, and ownership.

This role offers flexibility, independence, and the chance to grow into leadership through the quality of your work.

Responsibilities
  • Develop Revit models that are clean, coordinated, and efficient.
  • Produce drawings, diagrams, details, and documentation that are buildable and organized.
  • Build Enscape visualizations and walkthroughs that communicate design intent.
  • Prepare presentations and design decks using shared templates (PowerPoint / InDesign).
  • Assist with finishes, materials, schedules, and interior documentation.
  • Participate in remote design reviews and contribute both ideas and solutions.
  • Manage deliverables independently, with regular communication to the U.S. team.
Requirements
  • Degree in architecture or interior architecture.
  • 10 years of experience working in an architecture or interior architecture studio.
  • Strong Revit proficiency — documenting, modeling, and structuring sheets.
  • Enscape skills for renderings and real-time visualization.
  • Excellent English — spoken and written.
  • Ability to prepare presentation material with strong visual clarity.
  • High attention to detail and proactive communication.
  • Comfortable working remotely and managing your own time.

  • Experience developingUSpermit or construction sets

  • Contractor role — paidhourly forhours worked.
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere.
  • Flexible schedule — manage your own time and holidays.
  • Growth opportunities tied to initiative, capability, and reliability.

ARCHITECT | COMPETITIONS & CONCEPT DESIGN  (REMOTE – LATAM) >

Contract Full-Time | Remote (Preferred location: Latin America)

We are looking for an Architect who excels at early design and rapid concept development—— someone who understands design competitions and knows how to move from idea to visual solution immediately. You will review competition guidelines, analyze programming needs, interpret sustainability requirements, and convert them into spatial concepts, diagrams, massing studies, and early plans. This is a role for someone who loves design thinking, quick iteration, and creating options that tell a clear story.

Rendering speed and quality matter. You must be able to produce persuasive visualization assets quickly using real-time rendering tools such as Enscape, D5 Render, Lumion, or similar platforms. Your visuals should communicate design intention and emotional impact. You will define the diagrams that explain the concept and strategy—circulation, program relationships, key spaces, volumetry, and other drivers—and translate those diagrams into clear graphics in Illustrator.

This role requires someone who can articulate the strategy behind the design. You will communicate the rationale for your decisions — programming logic, adjacency priorities, sustainability strategies, site relationships — and provide that thinking to the writing team so it can be translated into narrative for competition submissions. You don’t just produce visuals; you understand the concept and can explain it.

The pace is fast. Competitions require rapid synthesis of information, strong judgment, and the ability to move from sketch to model to render in very short timelines. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, proactive in proposing alternatives, and confident making design decisions when information is incomplete.

Responsibilities
  • Review competition briefs, programming requirements, sustainability criteria, and site constraints to extract the design problem and opportunity.
  • Develop rapid conceptual options — adjacency diagrams, test fits, massing studies, and early floor plans.
  • Build structured Revit models that support concept iteration, rendering, and diagram extraction.
  • Produce persuasive renders quickly using real-time visualization software such as Enscape, D5 Render, or Lumion.
  • Define and design diagrams that communicate concept and strategy — circulation, program logic, volumetry, key spaces, and site relationships — and translate them into clear graphics using Illustrator.
  • Articulate design reasoning to the writing team so concepts can be reflected accurately in narrative submissions.
  • Manage multiple iterations and deadlines with urgency and accountability in fast competition cycles.
Requirements
  • Degree in architecture or interior architecture.
  • 8+ years of experience working in concept design, early-phase architecture, or design competitions.
  • Strong Revit proficiency — able to model quickly with clean structure and clarity.
  • Proven ability to produce persuasive renders fast using Enscape, D5 Render, Lumion, or similar real-time rendering tools.
  • Ability to develop and own conceptual diagrams in Illustrator — circulation, program relationships, volumetry, and design strategy.
  • Excellent English — capable of explaining design intent, strategy, and decision-making clearly.
  • Strong design judgment — visual clarity, composition, and narrative thinking.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and short deadlines while maintaining output quality.
Nice to have
  • Experience with proposal submissions ordesigncompetitions
  • Experience with multifamily, civic, hospitality, or education projects
  • Experience producing diagrams, infographics and AI software.
What Predicts Success
  • You grasp the project needs quickly and translate them into visuals within days, not weeks.
  • You balance creativity with clarity — ideas that look good and make sense.
  • You stay organized even under tight deadlines.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving design challenges.
Compensation & Structure
  • Contractor role — paidhourly forhours worked.
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere.
  • Flexible schedule — manage your own time and holidays.
  • Growth opportunities tied to initiative, capability, and reliability.
  • Direct involvement in U.S. projects and visibility with leadership.

We are looking for a Proposal / Grant Writer who loves research, reading, and understanding complex ideas — someone who can turn information into compelling narratives without losing clarity or intent. This role requires someone who reads critically, writes with precision, and isn’t afraid to ask questions when something is unclear. It blends analytical thinking with creative storytelling. You will learn our work deeply, understand our capabilities, and communicate our value through proposals, grants, interviews, and written submissions.

You will review requirements, research project context, interview team members, extract insights, and transform them into clear, persuasive narratives. You must be able to understand what the client or granting entity is asking, identify the best response, and structure the information so it tells a strong and strategic story.

This role moves quickly and has short, shifting deadlines. You must be comfortable managing multiple assignments simultaneously and taking ownership of the full writing cycle — from research and drafting to editing and final proofreading.

We need someone who takes ownership, thinks critically, and uses strong judgment. You must be comfortable making decisions, proposing alternatives, and elevating content — not just compiling text.

Responsibilities
  • Read proposal or grant requirements, analyze what is being asked, andidentify the content needed for a strategic response.
  • Research project context, precedents, statistics, and supporting information to strengthen the narrative.
  • Interview architects, designers, and leadership to gather insights and translate technical information into clear, compelling writing.
  • Draft proposal narratives, grant responses, capability statements, executive summaries, and project approach sections.
  • Edit, refine, and improve existing content to ensure consistency of tone, structure, and messaging across multiple submissions.
  • Organize information logically, maintain version control of documents, and ensure final submissions are concise, accurate, and complete.
  • Manage deadlines and coordinate with leadership to ensure deliverables are submitted on schedule, even when timelines shift.
Requirements
  • Exceptional English — written and spoken — with strong grammar, structure, and clarity.
  • Proven experience writing proposals, grants, reports, or narrative-driven technical content.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex requirements, extract relevant information, and respond strategically.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills — you seek clarity and challenge ambiguity.
  • Ability to manage multiple writing assignments at once while maintaining accuracy and momentum.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and delivering high-quality work with short deadlines.
  • Self-directed, organized, proactive, and able to take full ownership of your writing tasks.
Nice to have (Huge PLUS)
  • Experience with architecture, interior design, urban planning, or the built environment.
  • Ability to format and assemble proposals in InDesign.
  • Leadership or coordination experience in proposal or pursuit teams.
What Predicts Success
  • You think strategically and write with intention.
  • You take ownership of your work — not waiting fordirection on every detail.
  • You anticipate gaps and resolve them before they become issues.
  • You thrive under tight deadlines and enjoy the intensity of proposal cycles.
Compensation & Structure
  • Contractor role — paidhourly forhours worked.
  • Fully remote — work from anywhere.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER | SOCIAL MEDIA & ANIMATION  >

Contract Full-Time | Remote

We are looking for a Graphic Designer with strong experience in social media and digital content creation. You understand visual storytelling: how to translate an idea into a concept, a concept into a layout, and a layout into a compelling post that gets results. Your work is driven by creativity, speed, and intention. You design to communicate, not decorate.

This role requires someone who knows how to own a brand visually — someone who explores, proposes, pushes, and produces. You will be responsible for creating graphics, animations, short-form videos, and digital assets for MOYA and client accounts. You will collaborate directly with the Creative Director and the Communications & PR Director to align visuals with narrative strategies and business goals.

You should be comfortable managing multiple social content calendars, translating strategy into visuals, and proposing ideas instead of waiting to be told what to design. Strong aesthetic taste is essential. Initiative is expected.

Responsibilities
  • Develop visual content for social media across multiple brands and platforms.
  • Design graphics, short videos, motion pieces, and layouts for posts and campaigns.
  • Work with brand guides and also evolve visual directions when needed.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align messaging and visuals.
  • Plan, design, and produce reels, carousel posts, stories, and campaign assets.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate idea exploration, image generation, and production workflows.
  • Maintain organized files and meet deadlines consistently.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in digital design and social media content creation (show your portfolio).
  • Strong design judgment — composition, typography, layout, and visual clarity.
  • Ability to design animations and edit short videos.
  • Illustration skills or visual experimentation capabilities are highly valued.
  • Excellent Photoshop/Lightroom skills.
  • Comfortable using AI tools as part of the creative process.
  • Able to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand content in English to develop visuals from strategy and scripts.
Nice to have (Huge PLUS)
  • Experience working with architecture, interiors, or lifestyle brands.
  • Ability to storyboard visual ideas or support creative strategy.
  • Experience working with motion graphics.
What Predicts Success
  • You take ownership of social media design and drive ideas forward.
  • You communicate confidently and bring new concepts to the table.
  • You transform information into design that persuades — not just design that looks good.
  • You care about pace and efficiency without compromising taste.
